Fraxel

It tightens the soft tissue, renews the skin, triggers the collagen formation, especially reduces or substantially eliminates the fine wrinkles around the eyes, sun spots, colour irregularities, acne scars, surgical scars, burn scars. It can be used on the whole body. It is a FDA-approved procedure.

How does it work?

FRAXEL has a 1540 nm wavelength. It is effective on the upper and middle layer of the skin. It creates thermal columns in the skin. It eliminates the melanin pigment rich in water by breaking down when it runs into it. What makes difference in the fraxel treatment is the skin areas that are not touched by the laser. During the application, thermal columns affected by the laser are created among the intact tissues of the skin, providing much faster healing than the old technology.

3-5 sessions at 2-4 week intervals are recommended for an effective treatment. The number of sessions may increase depending on the severity of the problem. Visible developments begin to be noticed within about 2-3 months.

What happens after the treatment?

After the treatment, you will feel a slight sunburn sensation. Redness and swelling vary depending on the skin and treatment. Usually, swelling reduces within 1-2 days. Your skin gets a pinkish colour for 5-7 days.

You can do make-up and shave after a short period of time. The new epidermal tissue develops within 24 hours. When these occur, desquamation will arise in your skin. The use of moisturizer can camouflage the appearance of desquamation.

Who cannot undergo the application?

Those who have received Roacutane treatment for the last 3 months, uncontrolled diabetic patients are not eligible for the treatment.
